A tremendous come back with true grit and determination secured the Blues a hard earned victory. Trailing 17 - 5 after twenty minutes would have killed off most teams but fortunatly this seasons squad have a never say die attitude and held the much larger opposition out for sixty minutes.
The Blues scored three tries courtesy of a brace for centre Curtis Davies and a superb solo try from Owen James. Second row Emyr Lawrence added five points with the boot.
Brynaman away next week which is always a tough game.
Trebanos Youth 31 USV Youth 0
The USV suffered their biggest defeat to date against a very good Trebanos side. The home team were outstanding in fairness but no critism can be laid at the door of the USV boys who turned up and gave everything. You cant ask for anymore than that.
Huge game for the Upper Swansea Valley youth next week as they travel even further down the valley to Morriston for the first round of the Welsh Youth Plate.
