USV Youth 14 Abertillery Youth 22

An historic day was witnessed by a bumper crowd on Saturday as Upper Swansea Valley Youth took to the field for the first time.

Although the result recorded as a loss there was plenty of positivity’s before next week’s first league game against Tonna. The highlight was two tries for centre Nathan Williams. The young talented back with enter the record books as USV’s first ever scorer. Both tries were converted by full back Ben Edwards.

The merger is proving to be a success, certainly together stronger! Next week’s league game will be played at Abercraf.  All support welcome!
