Brynaman Program Welcome Address

On behalf of Ystradgynlais RFC I would like to extend a warm welcome to the players, supporters and officials of Brynaman  RFC.  This is our third meeting of the season and sixth over the past two years. Always very entertaining games between two clubs who like to play entertaining rugby.

Despite a recent dip in form we are still holding on to second place and the dream of promotion continues. Last week’s loss at the hands of Tondu was a very tough defeat to take with the home side showing true champion form and deserving of their run away leaders position. We look to bounce back today against a very good Brynaman side full of experience and talent.

The senior team have another big game on Tuesday night in Glynneath, where we will face Resolven in semi final of the West Wales Bowl. Kick off  is 7.30pm and all support welcome.

Our under 16s enjoyed success last weekend winning a tough Ospreys plate semi final and are now looking forward to great final at the beginning of May. We must also huge congratulations to player Dyfan and Iestyn who have been selected to represent the Ospreys under 16s squad.  Our under 15s also have a huge Ospreys cup semi final this Sunday morning; we wish them the world of luck. We are very proud of all our junior sides and are forever thankful to the parents and coaches for their dedication.

In closing we would like to make you aware that Nathan Launchbury-Jones will be singing live in the lounge this evening from 6pm. All welcome and its free entry.
