The Blues reserve team squandered a 19 – 7 lead to lose our to a very good Swansea Uplands team. Short on numbers (a few spectators were forced to kit up) but not on heart saw the seconds compete well in their first competitive game in two years. Math Battenbaugh scored 17 points thanks to a hat trick of tries and a conversion. Andrew Miller kicked the other two points.

USV Youth 19 Tonna 10
The USV recorded their first league victory of the season over a talented Tonna Youth. Some outstanding rugby was shown by both sides. The tries were scored by Marcus Wright (2) and Nathan Williams. Connor Hughes converted two out of three tries.
